New and upcoming mobile games for iPhone and Android (2026–2027)
Every notable mobile game with a date or a window between now and the end of 2027, what kind of game it is, and which ones you can already pre-register for.
New mobile games get announced every week and release dates move a lot, so this list sticks to what publishers have actually said: an exact day where there is one, the official window where there isn't, and a clear note when a game is only launching in some countries. We update it as dates change. Store "expected" dates on App Store pre-order pages are often placeholders, so we don't treat them as release dates.

Our game
Path of Orren
- Free, coming soon to iPhone and Android
- Join the waitlist
Full disclosure: this one is ours, so it isn't ranked with the others. Path of Orren is the game our small team is making, a free dark-fantasy party roguelite for iPhone and Android: you gather a party of unlikely heroes, set them on the field and lead them down a road of fights, forges, treasures and strange events, and the battles play out on their own while your choices decide who makes it to the end. It has no release date yet. When it has one, it goes in the calendar above, and the waitlist is the way to hear first and play the playtest.
Coming before the end of 2026
Absolum
The fantasy beat 'em up from the team behind Streets of Rage 4 comes to phones on November 5, 2026, published on mobile by Playdigious. It is a roguelite brawler: each run through the kingdom changes your path and your powers, and the art is drawn frame by frame. The mobile version has a rebuilt touch interface, controller support and cloud saves. It is a premium game, and pre-orders are open on the App Store and Google Play.
Everything is Crab
An evolution roguelite already out on PC: you start as a small creature and evolve through more than 125 abilities while a living ecosystem tries to eat you. It reaches phones on November 24, 2026, two months before the console versions.
Dispatch
The superhero workplace comedy from former Telltale developers was one of the narrative hits of 2025. You run the dispatch desk of a superhero agency and decide who goes where, and the story reacts to your calls. The phone version, out December 9, 2026, is rebuilt for touch and vertical play. The first four episodes are free and the other four unlock with one US$19.99 purchase. It is on Google Play now.
Petit Planet
HoYoverse, the studio behind Genshin Impact, is making a cozy life sim on a tiny planet, with neighbours who visit each other's worlds. It is due in winter 2026 on phones and PC, with no exact day yet, and pre-registration is open on the App Store and Google Play.
Azur Promilia
The Azur Lane studio's open-world RPG, built around befriending and riding creatures, launches on November 26, 2026 in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and China only. The English version is not coming this year: the developer plans an English open beta in summer 2027.
Coming in early 2027
Ananta
NetEase's open-world city RPG has a firm date: January 15, 2027, worldwide, on phones, PC and PS5. You drive, run across rooftops and fight with supernatural powers in a big modern city with an anime look. It is free-to-play, and pre-registration is open on the official site.
Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!
Sanrio's first mobile game under its own label is a rhythm game with Hello Kitty and friends, plus outfits and stages to dress up. It is due in January 2027 worldwide and free-to-play, with pre-registration on the App Store and Google Play.
Whisperborne
A pixel-art turn-based fantasy RPG in the style of Octopath Traveler, already out in China. The global version is due in early 2027 and is free-to-play.
KonoSuba: Machi-suba
A town-life RPG in the KonoSuba universe, tied to the anime's fourth season. It slipped from 2026 to February 2027 and is announced for Japan only.
Coming later in 2027
Darkest Dungeon II
The biggest news for fans of dark fantasy on phones: on October 28, 2026, Red Hook Studios and Playdigious announced Darkest Dungeon II for iPhone and Android in 2027. It is the road-trip sequel to the gothic dungeon crawler, with a party that builds relationships, good and bad, as stress piles up. The first Darkest Dungeon only ever reached the iPad, so this is the first time the series comes to phones properly.
He is Coming
A roguelite auto-battler from PC, announced for phones on the same day as Darkest Dungeon II and from the same mobile publisher. You build the gear of a single hero who then fights on his own, and every run ends against the same boss: the one who is coming. It is due in 2027 with touch controls, cloud saves and controller support.
Horizon Steel Frontiers
An MMORPG set in the world of Horizon Zero Dawn, made by NCSOFT under licence, with machine hunting at its centre. It moved from 2026 to the first half of 2027, on phones and PC.
Totopia
A free-to-play party platformer with more than a hundred maps and a social hub, coming to phones, PC and consoles in the second quarter of 2027.
DCKO
Two-versus-two tag fights with DC heroes and villains against live opponents, from former Marvel Contest of Champions developers. It is due in 2027 and free-to-play. Signing up on the official site also enters you for the open beta.
